The executive committee of the Convenio de Regeneración del Espacio Turístico has approved the drafting of the Northern coastal path, expected to be undertaken in 2010.
It was the idea of the late Enrique Talg, founder of the Hotel Tigaiga in Puerto de la Cruz, as part of a Cabildo landscape initiative.

The Katrandra Treetops another Loro Parque majestic attraction has been inaugurated today. This is one of the most impressive free-flight aviaries, where visitors can enter, climb the hanging bridge and look face to face the hundreds of different species and subspecies of birds.
