Hotel Tigaiga celebrates 50 Years.

The World Youth Choir (WYC) will bringing together talented young singers aged 17 – 26 from all over the world in Puerto de la Cruz on July 15th.

The choir’s conductors Ragnar Rasmussen and Joseph Vila i Casañas (currently Hotel Tigaiga guests) and repertoire perfectly reflects the cultural diversity of its singers.

The Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra will  start  the 27th Festival de Música de Canarias in January 2011.

Tenerife Concerts are usually held at the Auditorio in Santa Cruz, we are happy to help to organize your transfer from the hotel Tigaiga.

Under the banner of “community” we celebrate the eve of St. John in Puerto de la Cruz: From early evening family and friends armed with picnic baskets meet at Playa Jardín.

The live bands all around contribute to provide good atmosphere on the beach. Besides the usual bonfires,  little boats from banana leaves are built here, which  are then send with a lighted candle on an Atlantic Ocean trip. A really romantic experience which you can join!

The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Eduardo Westerdahl “MACEW” open to the general public in the old customs house, the Casa de la Real Aduana, which overlooks the fishing harbour in Puerto de la Cruz also celebrates the International Museum Day.

This year the celebration is in the spirit of the motto: « Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, co-operation and peace among peoples ».

In the first week of June, the CIT (Tourist and Iniciatives Centre)  is organizing the second edition of  PUERTO DE LA CRUZ in bloom!
