Fascination of Plants Day 18th May 2012: The Hotel Tigaiga joins this initiative by sharing a vanguard project with new technologies: An Interactive Catalogue of free access to explore the 200 species of subtropical plants, which the hotel has over 7000 m2 of gardens.

This Interactive Catalog is published on garden.tigaiga.com: The plant guide can be viewed from any modern computer and device.

The “Romerías” are traditional festivities in Tenerife: Locals accompany a procession of the patron saint of the town, wearing the traditional dress, riding on decorated wagons pulled by oxes. There is also a lot of singing and dancing to music played by folk groups. The procession passes along the streets of the town always attracting a large number of people. Traditional food also plays an important role in these celebrations, which the local people are proud to share with all visitors.
